This water tank was made during my 4th year school exam with specific restrictions : I had 9 hours to create and texture this asset, with the use of only one UV map.
I then chose to take this project further by spending a few more hours improving the textures and the model, as well as adding elements to the scene. This led me to learn how to make foliage with Blender by using modifiers to improve the workflow. I set up an UE4 project, created the materials and used some vertex paint in order to break the monotony of the tank and to integrate it to the environment.
For the foliage I used Megascan textures. I also used two 3D assets from megascan, the rocks and the tree trunk.
